Dinwiddie added to the longest winning streak in 4A Conference 20 this week by beating Matoaca, 45-21. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Generals.
Midlothian and Wythe played the most contested game in the league this week, with Midlothian eventually emerging with a 18-14 victory. Carl Courter ran for 121 yards and caught 1 pass for 26 yards in the win.
Dinwiddie's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ronald Kearney threw for 220 and 3 touchdowns and Ja'quan Poarch had 95 yards receiving. Caroline's Rasharrd Harris and Keyshwan Johnson led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Harris has thrown for 1,663 yards this season, while Johnson has 35 catches for 717 yards. Williams from the Generals leads the league in rushing with 1,033 yards.
Tucker made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,254 from 6,753. The advance stemmed from a 64-58 victory over Deep Run last week.
