St. Joseph Academy lost against Del Lago Academy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crusaders fell 2-0 to the Firebirds. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their offense was headlined by Milena Williams and Lauren Elsner, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Adley Fontaine and her eight assists. Finally, Eva Ambuul kept St. Joseph Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

St. Joseph Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Del Lago Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8-1.

Coincidentally, St. Joseph Academy and Del Lago Academy will both be playing Rock Academy the next time they take the court. The Crusaders will host the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Firebirds will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
