The biggest upset of the week belonged to Winthrop, who defeated 30th ranked Old Orchard Beach, 24-6.
Maranacook was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Traip. The Black Bears came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 34 last week.
The marquee game in D West this week will be the clash between Oak Hill and Maranacook. The Raiders enters the contest ranked 18th in the state, while the Black Bears ranks 25th.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Lisbon takes on Boothbay. The Greyhounds have allowed 14 points this season, while the Seahawks have given up 6.
Maranacook was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from ninth to fifth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Black Bears triumphed over the Rangers 22-6.
