Despite the defeat, Brownsburg got top-tier performance from Avery Gordon, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 boards. Even though they lost, Brownsburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jeffersonville, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 67-64 victory over North Knox on Monday.
The match pitted two dominant guards against one another in Kelis Dansby and Brynna Collins. Dansby had a great game and went 9 of 16 on her way to 24 points and eight rebounds. Meanwhile, Collins did her best for the losing side, posting 13 points and three steals.
Jeffersonville pushed their record up to 8-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Brownsburg, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Brownsburg has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.8 boards per game. However, it's not like Jeffersonville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.8 rebounds.
