The Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 64-52 to Lamar. Park Place Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lamar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zion Huggins, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Huggins has scored all season. Jonathan Hart was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Park Place Christian Academy has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-13 record this season. As for Lamar, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-15.
Park Place Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lamar will take on the Cougars at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Simpson Academy is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road.
