The Rich Rebels won the last time they faced the Farson-Eden Pronghorns, and things went their way on Friday too. Rich rang in the new year with a 43-30 victory over Farson-Eden. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Rich.
Rich can attribute much of their success to Violett Taylor, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Haydee Pugmire, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
Rich has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Farson-Eden, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Rich will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Big Piney at 12:00 p.m. Big Piney has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Farson-Eden, they will head out on the road to face off against Star Valley at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Wyoming (Star Valley is ranked 41st, while Farson-Eden is ranked 53rd).
