After a string of four wins, Alcester-Hudson's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 8-62 to Colome. Alcester-Hudson's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the game before.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Colome, Gayville-Volin were happy to find some success. Gayville-Volin put the hurt on Scotland with a sharp 46-18 victory. Followers of Gayville-Volin probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
Alcester-Hudson were fully in charge the last time the two teams met, breezing past Gayville-Volin 72-19. Will Alcester-Hudson repeat their success, or does Gayville-Volin have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
