The Tabernacle Christian Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 51-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oconee Christian Academy. Tabernacle Christian lost against Oconee Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in November of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 58-36 score last time.
Leading Oconee Christian Academy to victory were Daniel Frick and Carson Duncan. Frick scored 19 points along with five rebounds, while Duncan scored 22 points along with eight steals and seven assists. Frick continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Pierce, who scored five points.
Tabernacle Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oconee Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Tabernacle Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oconee Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Richard Winn Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
