Bishop Kelley's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Community Christian Royals. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Bishop Kelley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. This is the second loss in a row for Community Christian and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Bishop Kelley and Community Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Bishop Kelley will face off against Nathan Hale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday up 275 places (32 vs. 307). Meanwhile, Community Christian (ranked 50th) will meet Okmulgee (ranked 354th) at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
