It was a good run, but the Graham Local Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell to Bellefontaine 64-59. The match was a 28-28 toss-up at halftime, but Graham Local was outscored by Bellefontaine in the second.
Bellefontaine got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Quinlan Zedeker out in front who scored 22 points along with six assists. Another player making a difference was Tiffany Boop, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Graham Local's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Bellefontaine, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.
Graham Local will head out on the road to square off against Shawnee at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Shawnee has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 18. As for Bellefontaine, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Tecumseh at 1:30 p.m.
