El Monte has struggled against the Eagles recently, as their match on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Marshall's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Cedric Hill, who scored 22 points. Bagdo Yetenekyan was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
El Monte has been struggling recently as they've lost 17 of their last 18 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-26 record this season. As for Marshall, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-12.

Marshall is on the road again on Friday and plays the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Mountain View is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home.
