Putnam has been on the road for five straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the East Windsor Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Putnam suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 46-23 walloping at the hands of Griswold. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Putnam has scored all season.
East Windsor has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 54-41 to Bolton on Friday. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for East Windsor in their matchups with Bolton: they've now lost five in a row.
Putnam bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for East Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Putnam might still be hurting after the 44-22 loss they got from East Windsor when the teams last played back in December of 2022. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Putnam was down 29-8.
