Last Friday, Boulder Creek faced O'Connor in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Boulder Creek took down O'Connor 67-48.
Andrew Bhesania and Landon Brewer were among the main playmakers for Boulder Creek as the former scored 18 points and the latter scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Auditya, who scored six points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Pinnacle came up short against Sunnyslope on Friday and fell 62-52. It was the first time this season that Pinnacle let down their fans at home.
Boulder Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Pinnacle, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.
