The Broomfield Eagles won the last time they faced the Golden Demons, and things went their way on Friday too. Broomfield walked away with a 39-32 win over Golden. The win made it back-to-back wins for Broomfield.
Among those leading the charge was Sydney Deem, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kayleigh Jones, who scored 12 points.
Golden's loss came despite strong showings from Brooklynn Carbone and Ashlyn Bates. Carbone scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 3 steals, while Bates scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Broomfield's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Golden, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Broomfield is on the road again on Saturday and play against Lakewood at 1:30 p.m. on December 2nd. Lakewood will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while Broomfield is ranked seventh). As for Golden, they will take on Prairie View at TBD on Saturday.
