Tenaha moved up to 325 from 444 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 1A-2 Region III District 11. The Tigers climbed the ranks as a result of besting Chilton 28-16.
Tenaha extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Pirates, 28-16. The win marks ninth in a row for the Joshua Furlow's team.
Tenaha's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Jr Hill has thrown for 1,176 yards and 15 touchdowns this season, while Keontas Davis has 22 catches for 557 yards.
The Tigers made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,999 from 4,251. The improvement was the result of a 28-16 victory over Chilton last week.
