The Crofton Warriors lost against the Ponca Indians back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Crofton took a hard 52-33 fall against Ponca. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Crofton has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Crofton had strong showings from Jace Foxhoven, who scored eight points, and Zac Arens, who scored eight points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arens has scored all season.
Crofton's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Ponca, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Crofton will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Battle Creek at 7:45 p.m. Battle Creek is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak. As for Ponca, they will head out on the road to face off against Lawton-Bronson on Thursday. Lawton-Bronson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 90th in Iowa, while Ponca is ranked 15th in Nebraska).
