The Speedway Sparkplugs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cascade Cadets at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Speedway was able to grind out a solid victory over Indianapolis Lutheran, taking the game 59-49.
The match pitted two dominant players against one another in Alex DeLisle and Grace King. DeLisle had a great game and scored 15 points along with two steals. Meanwhile, King did her best for the losing side, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cascade beat Bethesda Christian 48-42 on Tuesday.
Speedway has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Cascade, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10.
