On Friday, Zionsville was able to grind out a solid victory over Greensburg, taking the game 59-49. That's two games straight that Zionsville has won by exactly ten points.
Zionsville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Mckenzie Chapman led the charge by scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Leedy, who scored nine points along with five steals.
Zionsville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Greensburg, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3.
Zionsville will take on Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Harrison focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 two weeks ago. Greensburg and Roncalli will round out the year against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Roncalli is ranked 42nd, while Greensburg is ranked 30th).
