The North Clarion Wolves 's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were outmatched by Redbank Valley on the road and fell 77-25. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Clarion has scored all season.
Redbank Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Owen Clouse out in front who scored nine points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Breckin Minich, who scored 15 points.
North Clarion has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Redbank Valley, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Clarion will face off against Ridgway at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Redbank Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Venango Catholic at 12:00 p.m. on January 27th. Venango Catholic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 735th, while Redbank Valley is ranked 60th).
