The Greene County Rams's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their ninth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 88-64 loss at the hands of Perry. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), Greene County still had to take the loss.
Perry's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Geren Kenney, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 16 rebounds. Kenney is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games he's played. Owen Myers was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with six assists and two steals.
Greene County's loss was their 12th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Perry, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-12.
Greene County will face off against Southeast Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Greene County is facing Southeast Valley at the right time seeing as Southeast Valley is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Perry, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Greene County at 7:30 p.m. Perry is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season.
