There's no place like home for Chiles, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the St. John Paul II Panthers on Wednesday as the Chiles Timberwolves made off with a 10-2 win. The Timberwolves not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 11th.

Bradford Ray looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Tyler Correa and Myles-Mott Smith did most of the damage at the plate: Correa scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4, while Smith went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs Smith has posted since back in February. Colby Tadder was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

The victory got Chiles back to even at 6-6. As for St. John Paul II, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Coming up, Chiles will square off against McMinn County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. John Paul II, a feisty cat fight will be fought as St. John Paul II Panthers challenge Leon Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Leon is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
