They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 71-17 victory over Wilkinson County. That looming 71-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Bogue Chitto yet this season.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Loyd Star over Amite County in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Loyd Star was the clear victor by a 67-43 margin over Amite County. Loyd Star pushed the score to 51-29 by the end of the third, a deficit Amite County had little chance of recovering from.
Nathan Mills continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five assists and five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Colby Terrell was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds.
Bogue Chitto's victory was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1. As for Loyd Star, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.
