The Clovis North Broncos will face off against the Frontier Titans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clovis North knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Frontier likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, everything came up roses for Clovis North against San Ramon Valley as the team secured a 43-14 victory. Considering the Broncos have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clovis North found their leader in sophomore J R Cruz, who rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry. Those 222 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Cruz. Carson Seiler was another key player, rushing for 140 yards and one score on only eight carries.
Clovis North's run defense was locked in: San Ramon Valley could only muster 1.3 yards per carry. The team can thank Ben Cazares for the heroic effort on defense: he. Clovis North didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 12.9.
Clovis North's defense didn't let Cole Dawes., get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. Cooper Haydock refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Another thorn in San Ramon Valley's side was Haydock, who picked up 1.5 sacks, made six total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defended one pass.
Meanwhile, Frontier's game on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a hard 31-14 fall against Lincoln. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Hornets are ranked ninth).
Clovis North will have to contain Talen Mather as he made an impact in Frontier's last game. He rushed for 117 yards and one TD while picking up 7.3 yards per carry.
Frontier's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-3. As for Clovis North, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Clovis North has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 220 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Frontier, though, as they've been averaging only 78.2 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for Clovis North against Frontier when the teams last played back in November of 2016, as the squad secured a 49-12 victory. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Titans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
