Badin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy only managed four hits.
Meanwhile, Chaminade Julienne Catholic suffered their closest defeat since March 21, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Greenon by a score of 12-10.
Mariem Mezni was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Kaylee McGrath, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Chaminade Julienne Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Badin, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
Chaminade Julienne Catholic's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Badin has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 12.2 hits per game. It's a different story for Chaminade Julienne Catholic, though, as they've been averaging 8.8 hits. Given Badin's sizable advantage in that area, the Eagles will need to find a way to close that gap.
