1. Jake Heaps (Skyline, 6-foot-2, 205 pounds, BYU): Rated as the top quarterback in the nation by several recruiting services, Heaps is already enrolled at BYU. He was named to the Parade All-America team after throwing for 3,191 yards, 45 touchdowns and just seven interceptions. For his career, Heaps was 40-2 with three state championships. He threw for 9,196 yards, 114 touchdowns and 18 interceptions. Jake Heaps, Skyline

2. Sione Potoa'e (Lakes, 6-3, 285, Washington): The All-American defensive lineman (he played with Heaps in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl) is rated as one of the top five defensive tackles in the nation. He decided to stay home after getting offers from most of the Pac-10, Notre Dame and LSU. The Huskies are rumored to have lured Potoa'e away from USC.
3. Chris Young (Auburn, 6-1, 215 Washington): What will Young do at the next level? He's a standout on both sides of the ball, playing running back (he rushed for 1,424 yards and 27 touchdowns in nine games, but he's mostly known for being a huge hitter and projects as standout linebacker.
4. Colin Porter (Bothell, 6-5, 310, Washington): Porter is an offensive lineman who's already college-sized. He's one of five offensive line commits to Washington. He didn't give up a sack all year playing in the best football league in the state.
5. Happy Iona (Bethel, 6-3, 283, Oregon State): One of the few top recruits that the Huskies didn't nail down, Iona is big and fast with a sub-five-second 40 time.
6. Jamaal Kearse (Lakes, 6-2, 200, Washington): The wide receiver/defensive back joins his brother Jermaine with the Huskies. His 4.6-second time in the 40 seems to project on the defensive side ball. He caught 18 passes for 248 yards and two touchdowns in the Lancers' run-first offense.
7. Michael Hartvigson (Bothell, 6-6, 240, Washington): The Huskies have a history of sending tight ends to the NFL, and Hartvigson has prototypical size at the position. He had 16 catches for 213 yards and six touchdowns this past year.
8. Zach Fogerson (O'Dea, 6-0, 225, Washington): Here's another player committing to the Huskies to play alongside his brother. One of the state's top-rated running backs, Fogerson will play with his brother Johri. It's possible they could see time in the backfield together someday. The bigger Zach projects to a fullback, as his brother plays tailback. Fogerson only carried the ball 25 times, but he averaged 12.7 yards per carry and scored eight touchdowns.
9. Ben Riva (O'Dea, 6-7, 285, Washington): With his height, Riva could become a massive tackle. Also has decent speed with a 5.0 time in the 40-yard dash. He paved the way for the Irish, who averaged 7.5 yards per rush.
10. Julious Moore (Bellevue, 6-1, 260, UCLA): Here's another one of the few top recruits that Washington didn't manage to stop at the border. He's one of the top 10 recruits in the state and among the top 40 in the nation on the defensive line. Moore was part of two state title teams with the Wolverines.
