Kimball Gets a Boost from Nance in 35-7 Victory
Starting off the list is Kimball's Jermaine Nance, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Nance rushed for 221 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.5 yards per carry.
On the year, Nance has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 153.2 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had four rushing touchdowns.

Jordin Thomas Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Thanks in part to Jordin Thomas, Lincoln said goodbye to their three-game losing streak. Thomas was excellent on Friday, rushing for 139 yards and three touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101) per game. Lincoln is 2-1 when Thomas posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-4 otherwise.
Thomas is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Lodi on Friday. Thomas rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 38 receiving yards the last time he and the Flames duked it out back in October of 2023.

Moore Iii Came Up Big in St. Mary's 35-23 Win
Kenneth Moore Iii put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He picked up 111 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 79 yards on only five carries. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 77 yards.
The win was the fourth in a row for St. Mary, bringing their record for this year to 6-2. Moore Iii and St. Mary's will square off against Tracy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Mckenzie As Edison Fell 35-23
Edison was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Amarion Mckenzie did his best to prevent it. Mckenzie was dynamite, rushing for 71 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also picking up 30 receiving yards. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Edison's road trip will continue as they head out to face Kimball at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The contest will pit Mckenzie up against the Jaguars' star rusher Jermaine Nance. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
