Luis Valdez Leadership Academy has struggled against Summit Tahoma recently, as their contest on Saturday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Summit Tahoma's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JJ Tucker, who scored 15 points. Tucker has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Salazar, who scored 13 points.
Luis Valdez Leadership Academy dropped their record down to 2-16 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Summit Tahoma, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-4.
