The Cannelton Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their ninth straight loss. They fell to Frederick Fraize 55-50. Cannelton has not had much luck with Frederick Fraize recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Cannelton lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaleb Wilkerson, who scored ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wilkerson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was River McIntosh, who scored 12 points.
Cannelton dropped their record down to 1-12 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Frederick Fraize, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-14.
Cannelton will be playing in front of their home fans against Tecumseh at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Tecumseh has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 16. As for Frederick Fraize, they will head out on the road to face off against Hancock County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
