Battle Creek Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Olivia Keller and Sofia Keller. Keller scored two points along with 12 rebounds and seven blocks, while Keller scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and seven blocks. That was a full 52% of Battle Creek Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Kalamazoo HomeSchool's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-3. As for Battle Creek Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
Kalamazoo HomeSchool will be playing at home against Howardsville Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Howardsville Christian's defense has only allowed 22.8 points per game this season, so Kalamazoo HomeSchool's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Battle Creek Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Factoryville Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Factoryville Christian is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
