The Hope Blue Wave will be playing at home against the Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Hope's defense has only allowed 27.9 points per game this season, so Blackstone Valley Prep's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Hope scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 59-26 win over Providence Country Day. Hope has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.
Hope's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Sa-moni McKay, who scored 17 points, and Jorday Johnson, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja`ray Washington, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Blackstone Valley Prep had to suffer through a rough 53-20 loss at the hands of Johnston. Blackstone Valley Prep has struggled against Johnston recently, as their match on Thursday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Hope has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Blackstone Valley Prep, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-11.
Hope didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Blackstone Valley Prep in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 32-27 win.
