The Danbury Hatters's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 21-7 fall against Ridgefield. Danbury has struggled against Ridgefield recently, as their matchup on Wednesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Ridgefield got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kyle Colsey out in front who picked up 103 receiving yards and a touchdown. Max Keppler was another key contributor, throwing for 217 yards and two touchdowns while completing 88.2% of his passes.
Danbury's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Ridgefield, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.
Danbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ridgefield also has no future games currently scheduled.
