The Chalker Wildcats will challenge the Cardinal Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Chalker is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Badger with a sharp 31-23 victory on Thursday. With that win, the Wildcats brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Logan Smallsreed and Zach Pack did most of the damage at the plate: Smallsreed got on base in six of his seven plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and seven runs, while Pack went a perfect 7-for-7 with three stolen bases, five runs, and five RBI. Pack has become a key player for Chalker: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three RBI, but 1-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Bobby Prowitt, who went 4-for-6 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
Chalker always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Cardinal not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17th (when they won 10-0). They blew past Cornerstone Christian 8-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.
Carter Tucker made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evan Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. That triple marked the first that he has hit this season. Charles Solitis was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
Chalker's victory bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Cardinal, their win bumped their record up to 3-15.
Cardinal's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Chalker has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .449.
