After a four-year career at Providence, Dunn is viewed as the draft's top point guard prospect with the potential to go as high as No. 3 to the Celtics.

At New LondonThe Whalers went 50-3 during Dunn's junior and senior seasons – including a state title in 2011. As a junior, Dunn produced 26.5 points per game as New London went unbeaten en route to the Class LL state title. He upped his scoring average to 31.4 along with 10.1 rebounds per game as a senior but saw his team fall in the state semifinals.
247Sports pegged Dunn as the No. 17 prospect in the 2012 class, behind names like Nerlens Noel, Shabazz Muhammad, Kyle Anderson, Steven Adams and Marcus Smart.
At ProvidenceOne of the greatest players in program history, Dunn tallied over 1,200 points, 500 assists, 400 rebounds and 200 steals in his four-year career (played in just four games in 2013-14 due to shoulder injury). A two-time Big East Player of the Year, led the Friars to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances as a junior and senior. Flirted with triple-doubles nearly every night out in his final two years at Providence but got his first in January of 2015 by piling up 27 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists against DePaul.
