IV Section IV recap September 24, 2013
Coolidge extended the longest winning streak in IV Section IV this week by beating Combs, 44-19. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Bears.
Seton Catholic took down Cortez 47-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. George Wolter caught 8 passes for 197 yards in the win.
Bobby Herrera and Ian Campos gave Florence a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Herrera threw for 252 yards and 4 touchdowns, while Campos ran for 180 yards. Beau Griego also contributed to the rushing game with 50 yards on the ground.

Dylan Miles made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Sentinels bested the Colts. The 6-foot-0 junior.
Herrera put up the best numbers through the air as Florence defeated Chino Valley. Herrera's favorite target this week was Matt Ramirez, who caught 3 passes for 101 yards.
He was 13-20 with 0 interception.
Wolter was the best wideout in the league this week as Seton Catholic defeated Cortez. Niko Villegas helped Seton Catholic's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 47 yards.
Campos was the most successful running back in the league this week.
Florence's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Gophers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Herrera has thrown for 942 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, while Ramirez has 11 catches for 291 yards.
A big matchup in IV Section IV this week will be when Rex Bowser's team takes on Coronado. The Sentinels are in second place, while the Dons are in sixth place.
