Dawson is 2-8 against the Bulldogs since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Dawson Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Marlin Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Dawson sitting on four straight wins and the Bulldogs on ten.
Last Tuesday, Dawson didn't have too much trouble with the Indians at home as they won 50-31.
Meanwhile, Marlin earned a 52-40 win over the Tigers on Tuesday.
Dawson is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Marlin, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4.
Dawson came up short against the Bulldogs in their previous matchup back in January, falling 56-52. Can Dawson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
