The Mountain House Mustangs entered their tilt with the Grace Davis Spartans with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Mountain House was the clear victor by a 66-44 margin over Grace Davis. With Mountain House ahead 35-6 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Leading Mountain House to victory were Jordan Assefa and Shamar Jones. Assefa scored 12 points along with four steals, while Jones scored 16 points. Thomas Pinn was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Mountain House has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Grace Davis, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain House will face off against Johansen at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Johansen will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 851st, while Mountain House is ranked 181st). Grace Davis will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Beyer at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
