Baseball Recap: Valley Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Valley lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Pinnacle, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Wednesday's contest. The Buffalos never let the Panthers get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Buffalos have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payson Harris, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs Harris has posted since back in October of 2024.

Valley pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Pinnacle, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, Valley will take on Wayne at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffalos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Badgers have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Pinnacle, they will challenge Panguitch at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last five games.
