Those  four  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Konstatino Scopelitis, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
The  win was  the third in a row for New Mexico Military Institute, bringing their record up to 12-6. Those  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sandia Prep, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record  this season.
