The Falcons narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Roadrunners 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Aquinas got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-12, 25-17, 36-38, 15-11.
Aquinas has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season. As for Woodcrest Christian, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-3.
