Jamestown is 0-10 against Farrell since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Jamestown Muskies the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Farrell Steelers at 7:15 p.m. on January 16th. Jamestown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 692nd, while Farrell is ranked 253rd).
Jamestown suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a rough 59-37 defeat at the hands of Sharpsville.
Meanwhile, Farrell earned a 58-51 victory over Union Area on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Farrell.
Farrell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Danny Odem III out in front who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Juelz Johnson, who scored six points along with 11 assists and nine rebounds.
Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Farrell, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Jamestown came up short against Farrell in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 75-63. Can Jamestown avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
