DuQuoin is 0-10 against Nashville since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The DuQuoin Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Nashville Hornets at 7:45 p.m. DuQuoin is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
DuQuoin pushed their score all the way to 57 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Massac County on the road and fell 84-57. While losing is never fun, DuQuoin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 442nd, while Massac County is ranked 144th).
Meanwhile, Nashville came up short against Benton on Tuesday and fell 59-49.
DuQuoin's defeat dropped their record down to 9-18. As for Nashville, their loss dropped their record down to 16-12.
DuQuoin was taken down by Nashville 68-33 when the teams last played back in January. Can DuQuoin avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
