On Friday Greenwood take on Athens at 7:00 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Greenwood took a serious blow against Loyal last Friday, falling 8-46.
Meanwhile, if Athens were riding high off their 42-6 takedown of Thorp two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Athens found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 22-46 punch to the gut against Assumption.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
