Peyton Hausman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Hausman is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
The win was the fourth in a row for St. Joseph Christian, bringing their record for this year to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Stanberry, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
St. Joseph Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bishop LeBlond at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Missouri (Bishop LeBlond is ranked 14th, while St. Joseph Christian is ranked 12th). As for Stanberry, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against King City at 7:00 p.m. King City is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
