Columbus added to the longest winning streak in Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee this week by beating Baxter Springs, 46-0. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Columbus took down the Lions 46-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Zane Roark ran for 161 yards in the win.
Roark provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Dan Grundy's team defeated Baxter Springs. Roark's favorite target this week was AJ Randle, who caught 2 passes for 48 yards.
Aaron Cockerel was a key player and the best on defense this week as Galena topped St. Mary's-Colgan. The 5-foot-10 senior recorded 1 fumble.
Dalton Weaver put up the best numbers in passing as Riverton fell to Southeast. He had a total of 9 completions for 94 yards. Weaver's favorite target this week was Jon Spiva, who caught 3 passes for 34 yards.
The Rams' Chandler Underhill and Landon North have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Underhill has thrown for 968 yards this season, while North has 30 catches for 671 yards. Chris Woolf from Erie leads the league in rushing with 1,126 yards.
Gabe Helton of the the Bulldogs is just 50 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 115 carries Helton has put up 950 yards this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Southeast takes on Galena. As it stands, Clint Rider's team is in fifth, while Beau Sarwinski's team is in second.
The Titans led Crawford-Neosho-Cherokee in scoring this week by notching 46 points on Brett Hartley's team. Roark ran for 161 yards during the win.
