The Simi Valley Pioneers will head out on the road to face off against the Ventura Cougars at 16:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, Simi Valley took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 36-7 victory over Del Sol. The result was nothing new for Simi Valley, who have now won three matches by 28 points or more so far this season.
Ventura fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They enjoyed a cozy 21-7 win over Buena on Thursday.
Miles Hendrych was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, and also caught a touchdown.
The win got Simi Valley back to even at 4-4. As for Ventura, their victory on Thursday bumped their record up to 4-5.
