Fans got a thrill when John Lippincott and Tony Ortiz connected against Granby Memorial. The connection went for 53 yards, the longest such play in Pequot - West this season.
Avon was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from seventh to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Falcons defeated Lewis Mills 35-0.
