The MCC Crescents will head out on the road to square off against the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. MCC will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Friday, MCC beat Unity Christian Academy 66-53.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-29, which was the final score in Roosevelt's tilt against UIC College Prep on Monday. Roosevelt has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
MCC pushed their record up to 19-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Roosevelt, their loss dropped their record down to 1-17.
Everything came up roses for MCC against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 97-19 win. Will MCC repeat their success, or does Roosevelt have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
