Rose Harrelson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base.

In other batting news, Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin let Claire Peters and Esther Harrelson run wild. Peters scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 4-for-4, while Harrelson went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Harrelson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abby Aardema, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 19 runs the game before, Cedar Creek was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 17-1 to McCallum.
Cedar Creek saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was K Ramirez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. L Hentschel also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Cedar Creek dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin came out on top in a nail-biter against Cedar Creek in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, sneaking past 5-4.
