The Williamson Warriors will take on the Oswayo Valley Green Wave at 2:00  p.m.  on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Williamson and 12 for Oswayo Valley.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Williamson and Mansfield had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Warriors lost  15-1 to the Tigers on Wednesday.
Williamson got a good showing from  Maddox Hartman, who   pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Hartman has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Williamson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Carter Tubbs, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Oswayo Valley fought the good fight in their extra-innings  game against Smethport  on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Hubbers by a score of  9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Green Wave have lost by  just one  run.
 Williamson's record now sits at 3-11. As for Oswayo Valley, their record is now 2-13.
 Williamson took their  victory against Oswayo Valley  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2024 by a conclusive  11-3 score. Do  the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Green Wave turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
