Kai Brown put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2024 on Thursday. He rushed for 135 yards on only 13 carries. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he posted at least 120 rushing yards in the fifth games prior.

Brown and Carlsbad will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on La Costa Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The matchup will pit Brown up against the Mavericks' star RB Coby Herman. These two stars should make plenty of fireworks, so fans can expect an exciting show. Which one brings home the W?
